Spectrum UCAT – 2026
This is a face to face program for Y-12, Y-11 and Y-10 students based in Perth WA.
Our coaching methodology is conventional and unique (Paper based, student centric, face to face with Tutor in real time in a classroom).
We believe this approach gives much better results than online courses. Accordingly our fee structure is higher than online courses due to our methodology described.
Please note that the main UCAT 2026 (for Year 12 students of Academic Year 2026) is a computer-based test conducted between 1 July 2026 to 9 August 2026 by Pearson VUE.
The UCAT exam takes a total of approximately two hours for answering around 184 questions over four different subtests. This amounts to students answering one question in about 40 seconds after allowing time for reading the passage and understanding the context.
Thus it puts extreme time pressure and requirement to concentrate and respond.
Our Approach
For the last ten years, we at Spectrum are providing UCAT support to Perth Students aspiring careers in Medicine and Dentistry, delivering outstanding results.
We also provide support for personal interviews for Medicine and Dentistry.
We noticed over the years that the vast majority of students do not finish the exam due to non-academic factors. These include lack of resilience skills to perform under time pressure and inability to judge and move away from one question to the next.
The four sections of UCAT are fairly general and do not rely on any academic content taught in the schools. The Spectrum UCAT classes are combined for Y-10, Y-11 and Y-12. We believe that this works in the best interests of all medicine and dentistry aspiring students.
Our tutoring in 2026 is organised in clusters to suit Y10/Y11/Y12 students. The clusters are a combination of section specific classes and mock exams.
Each cluster consists of five weeks as below:
– Week1: Verbal Reasoning(VR)
– Week 2: Decision Making(DM)
– Week 3: Quantitative Reasoning(QR)
– Week 4: Situational Judgement(SJ)
– Week 5: Mock Exam covering all the four sub sections followed by answers discussion.
In our coaching model, we support highly competitive peer group facilitated by skilled UCAT instructors, who are highly accomplished university students and aced in their own UCAT exam earlier.
Our classroom instruction material is unique and developed by professionals for immersive experiential learning.
This material is not for sale or taking home.
Our exclusive UCAT program is designed in clusters to help students develop a competitive edge by a well paced schedule that allows time for School semester-end exams. Each cluster consists of 8 hours of intensive instruction followed by a full-length mock exam.
